  1. I think that when you do the exercise in looking in your neighbor's eyes at the end of it you should tell each other something about yourself....if nothing else, your name. At the end of the exercise it seemed kind of pointless without something to "end" it.

  2. re Connect --look different people in the eye: I did this one day last week. I turned visible from being an invisible "woman of a certain age." I was smiling with Irish eyes and people smiled back or did a blank-eye-drift away. Some said, ‘Hi,’ or ‘Good Morning.’ I felt very much ‘there’ in the moment even while appraising the quality of contact. Generally, when met, I felt a quickening of attention--'you are there; I am here. Yes'
