Joy to the Brain #7 DANCE

Your homework for this class is to dance! Find some time to dance every day if you can. Dance around the house to your favorite dance music. Dance with a friend or spouse. Go line dancing.
Try to think of every way you can find to get a little dancing in your life. Then note how it made you feel.

  1. I dance every AM to Amy Goodman's music inserts between news items. They ROCK! Also my masseur put me on to Pandora.com where you can create your own music station with music similar to any single piece you choose--I have one for Luciano Paverotti, another for Johnney Cash, etc--mgt's music moves. YEAH!

  2. If you want to see a fascinating dance, go to Salome, on a limited run at the SF Opera. Seeing Salome dance put me in mind of an old skipping rope song from my youth that you might enjoy. When you say it out loud, the word 'Salome' is pronounced "Salami". Here goes:

    Salome was a dancer
    She danced before the king
    And every time she danced
    She wiggled every thing.
    Stop! said the king.
You can't do that in here.
    Salome said 'Baloney"
    And she kicked the chandelier!
